Sioux Falls – Charlotte M. “Connie” Beumer, 75, passed away February 3, 2010 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

A visitation will be 12:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2010 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with the family present from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a Liturgical Wake Service at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at St. Lambert Church with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.

Charlotte Mary “Connie” Kotz was born May 21, 1934. She attended Cathedral Grade School and graduated from Washington High School in 1952. On February 7, 1959, Connie was united in marriage with James “Jim” Beumer in Sioux Falls, SD. Jim passed away June 1, 1995.

Connie was a member of St. Lambert Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Women of the Moose, and numerous Bridge and Mah-Jongg Clubs.

Grateful for having shared her life are two sons, Craig Beumer of Sioux Falls, Brad Beumer of Detroit, MI; a daughter, Teresa Pederson of Larchwood, IA; three grandsons, Zachary (Monica) Pederson of Camp Pendleton, CA, Evan Pederson and John Pederson, both of Larchwood; a granddaughter, Carly Pederson of Larchwood; a great-grandchild, Logan Pederson; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; and a son-in-law, Brad Pederson.
