Sylvia Ann Skrondahl, daughter of Orlin and Ellen (Payne) Skrondahl, was born December 21, 1954, in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1973. Following her graduation she moved to Connecticut. She was in Connecticut for three years before moving back to Sioux Falls where she began working for the Westfield Insurance Company. She worked for Westfield as a secretary for a number of years before beginning her job at Citibank as a customer service representative. Sylvia also attended Augustana College for one year. She worked at Citibank until ill health forced her to quit.

In her free time, Sylvia enjoyed reading, watching movies, taking care of her dogs and spending time with her son, Shaun and her granddaughter, Trinity. They were the love of her life and proud legacy that she leaves behind. Sylvia will be greatly missed by all those who shared her life.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Shaun Skrondahl, Sioux Falls; granddaughter, Trinity Skrondahl, Sioux Falls; brother Keith Skrondahl and his wife, Audrey, Pierre, SD; niece, Katie Melius, Brandon, SD; nephew, Kent Skrondahl, Grand Forks, ND; uncle, Ralph (Shirley) Payne, Rapid City, SD; friends, Therese Gruenwald, Sioux Falls, and Jean Delbridge, Sioux Falls; and many cousins and friends.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Orlin and Ellen Skrondahl.
