Robert Warren Kenison (aka BBQ) was born May 9th 1921 on a farm near Lone Tree, SD. The first of twins to Irving and Esther Kenison, he was raised on a farm and graduated from Egan High School, Egan, SD.
Bob was united in marriage with Donna Fillback in March of 1953. They farmed north of Canton, SD until 1968, when they moved to Brandon, SD. In 1973, they built a home east of Sioux Falls, SD and in 1987 they moved into Sioux Falls.
Bob worked various jobs including driving bus for the Brandon Valley School District, delivering floral arrangements for Josephine’s Flower Shop and working in the shipping department for Austad’s Golf. But most importantly, he was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and neighbor.
