Gerald Wesley “Jerry” Osman, son of Fred and Hazel (Bowman) Osman, was born July 4, 1924 in Broadland, SD. He was raised near Hitchcock, SD.

Jerry served as an air engineer in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He then worked for International Harvester until retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; three children, Jane Nestor and her husband, Doug, Ottumwa, IA, Peter Osman and his wife, Bette, Redmond, WA, John Osman and his wife, Susan, Sioux Falls, SD; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Weir, Grand Forks, ND; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Morse; his parents; a brother, Russell Osman; and a sister, Alfreda Puffer.
